The Monarch

The colorful Monarch Butterfly is a vivid example of the wondrous design of this world of ours.  It is a thing of beauty for us to enjoy, a pollinator of wildflowers, and food for birds.  It is a metaphor for Creation that also applies to humanity with each of us possessing various capabilities that are intended to compliment one another.  When we ignore the value of any aspect of Creation tragic consequences follow sooner or later.  Climate warming is the latest example of the harm we can inflict when we fail to carefully consider the impact of our actions on the delicate balance of the elements of our world.  The harm experienced by Ethnic Minorities reflects the consequence of our failure to realize that all men and women are children of God.
